The executive, after consultation with club Presidents, have endorsed the establishment of a Hockey enrichment program to be run by "Hockey Essentials".
"Hockey Essentials" is a private company set up by Kevin and Trevor Bannan. Both have extensive experience in playing and coaching. We invite you to read their CV's. 

Their program is open to any body, irrespective of age, gender and experience. It will consist of 10 -12 sessions (11/2 - 2hrs) over a full year. The cost and payment details are also attached. The sessions will be individualised to meet the needs of participants. Kevin and Trevor encourage goalies to enrol.

Registration for the program will occur on Sunday April 9, 4:00pm and Monday 10th from 5:30. On Monday a van with hockey equipment will also be in attendance.

Trevor and Kevin are also willing to assist with the following
    • running coaching and umpiring accreditation schemes in the GV under the auspices of Hockey Victoria.
    • one off clinics for goalies and others not in their Academy
    • support for our country week and other representative teams
    • clinics in schools around the region
    • the establishment of a squad to tour overseas - location, dates etc to be determined.

Participation in the program does not mean automatic selection for representative/country week teams. Selection trails will still occur.

The program is not a substitute for Vic Stix. It is open to any age group and does not require selection for participation.

The GVHA see this program as important for the development of the game in our region.
